Topic began working with Messer in the fall of 2009, and in that time we have served as a marketing services provider for creative strategy, graphic design and digital development solutions. From designing market segment brochures and producing a new corporate website to consulting on third party systems and leveraging social media, we are contracted as a strategic business partner on their most influential internal and external marketing projects.
We worked with each customer-facing department and the executive team to deliver a website that better represents the company and the work that we do. We are very happy with the result. The site showcases the essence of Messer and the amazing buildings we put in place.Tom Keckeis President & CEO
Fast Track Development
Our most significant project to date was redesigning and deploying Messer’s new website, including producing a custom content management system inside of three months. Based upon many factors, we advocated for and successfully convinced Messer to move away from its five-year-old .net-based site running atop an antiquated CMS with limited administrative capacities and virtually no extensibility, to an open-source PHP-based solution with infinite possibilities.
What the old site lacked in design presentation, content accessibility and administrative ability, we replaced with an interface that elevated Messer’s greatest selling proposition, its portfolio of work, pulled relevant content to the surface that had previously been three, even four levels deep, and developed a custom content management system that provides them with autonomous ownership of the complete solution.
Although we focused the project intensely on leveraging modern technologies, using a new framework, new languages and techniques, the end result is an overwhelmingly pleasing combination of both that and design.
