Located just blocks away from Topic in downtown Cincinnati, BHDP focuses on architecture and design in the higher education, science, retail, and workplace markets. Their focus on strategic design is driven by their core value to ‘design for people’, and to develop sustainable environments that people live, work and grow in everyday.
With a website that was in many ways restricted by its Flash-driven configuration, disparate navigation and general lack of top-level content, they saw in Topic an opportunity to holistically revamp their approach to online promotion, to significantly enhance their user experience, dissemination of information, content accessibility and brand position.

Sharing a passion not only for great design, but relevant design, made for a great collaboration between BHDP and Topic. From day one a mutual expectation was established that the end product be aligned with BHDP’s strategy, to focus on the design of the end-user behavior, the PROCESS, and the technology that supports it.
With this in mind we set out to create a unique web experience driven by graphic pathways and structural content, like aesthetically pleasing wayfinding signage that encourages interactivity and promotes engagement. And this sophisticated façade is reinforced by an extensible framework along with a custom content management system capable of serving BHDP well into the future.
